With the recent acquisition of E3Modelling we have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Athens. Do you have solid technical skills and a strong interest in European and international energy policy, with a special focus on the transport sector?
We are looking for a self-driven, motivated Analyst to join our PRIMES modelling team and work on high-standing consulting projects for international organisations, national governments, and the private sector.

Purpose
In this position the successful candidate will perform analytical research in order to support various activities of the energy system models PRIMES and PRIMES-TREMOVE. More specifically, you will:
- Collect, structure, keep up-to-date and analyze large datasets with relevance for energy, economy and transport
- Review and summarise scientific, technical and market reports into inputs necessary for quantitative assessments
- Operate and analyse inputs and outputs of the PRIMES-TREMOVE transport model
- Lead and/or contribute to technical and policy analysis reports, and engage with different stakeholders
Qualifications
- Hold a BSc and/or MSc degree in engineering, applied mathematics, economics or physics.
- Have proven experience of research and/or work experience on energy or transport system analysis and related quantitative methods.
- Demonstrate the ability to use analytical tools for data analysis.
- Have an interest in sustainable transport and its environmental impacts.
- Have an understanding of European and/or international environmental policy issues.
- Collect, validate and analyse data and engage with stakeholders in relation to any complex issues.
- Demonstrate writing skills by having authored or co-authored academic articles, technical and/or policy reports in English.
- Work independently and as part of a project team in delivering high quality work.
- Be an excellent user of MS Office with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Word.
- Be proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
- Have an analytical and problem-solving mindset, collaborative attitude and be eager to learn.
