Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for overall marketing division, including strategy development and market messaging. Implements and evaluates brand strategies that ensures organization is well positioned in the market.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads employer brand strategy by developing a detailed go-to-market plan / roadmap
  • Develops relationships and collaboration to initiative and drive change
  • Assesses competitive landscape to identify and prioritize market need (including but not limited to analyzing RFP customer trends, keeping abreast of competitor strategies and offerings)
  • Lead and collaborate marketing multi-year strategy formation, development / roadmap, testing and roll out (including development of metrics and key performance indicators)
  • Develop business case around specific customer needs, maintain / refine comprehensive value story, ensure market messaging aligns with strategic roadmap and how communicated to the market
  • Participates in the Senior Leadership Team, with limited 'executive committee' responsibilities
  • Delivers superior levels of customer service to both internal and external customers while demonstrating Ricardo's core values of respect, integrity, creativity and innovation, and passion
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business administration, or other related technical field required
  • Five years leadership experience in business / solution strategy; highly professional in appearance and approach; exudes expertise and credibility
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound strategic thinker; possesses vision of what could be; ability to identify opportunities; nimbleness in thinking; initiator of improvements
  • Ability to interpret and recommend qualitative and quantitative market research
  • Strong but customer-aware negotiation skills; track record of building high-performing teams; ability to influence
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills; effective at communicating a path forward, especially in times of crisis; ability to condense complex issues into succinct messages
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic and matrixed organization
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
