We are looking for a Junior Analysis and Simulation Engineer to join our Global Analysis and Simulation team in our Prague office. In this role, you will work on a diverse range of projects at the forefront of technology, spanning fuel cells, electrified powertrains, energy storage systems, and green engines. This role offers the chance to specialise in areas of personal interest while honing your skills in tools like Abaqus, Optistruct, Adams, or Ansys suite.

 

This is a full-time, on-site position that includes opportunities for client visits and interaction with global Ricardo offices, fostering a rich professional network.

 

We encourage you to apply for this role if you have:

  • University degree (M.Sc. / Ing. or higher) in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Applied Physics.
  • Passion for solving engineering problems and learning new skills and work well within a team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with using analysis & simulation tools (e.g. in previous job, master thesis or university project).
  • Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in at least one analysis area (e.g. structural, durability, MBD, electromagnetic).
  • Good English both written and verbal.
  • Czech language is huge advantage.
  • Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic.

Your role will involve:

  • Building and running analysis models in tools like Abaqus, Optistruct, Adams or Ansys suite, technical reporting.
  • Working on a variety of analysis & simulation disciplines (e.g., structural and durability, multi-body dynamic or electromagnetic).
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engaging in cutting-edge technology projects involving fuel cells, electrified powertrains, energy storage systems, and green engines.
