We're looking for a consultant at Principal to Associate Director level, combining technical expertise with a business mindset, to support, deliver, and expand our Regulatory Products Technical area.

You'll work with a successful team, navigate evolving chemical regulations globally, and excel technically. Strong leadership, growth, and commercial skills are essential, along with knowledge of REACH and CLP in the UK and Europe, including SDS authoring, and broader chemical regulatory compliance expertise is a plus.

- Experience managing and delivering a range of products and projects in the regulatory environment, directly and with a team of regulatory professionals.
- Be team and development focused, working with a range of capability levels and skills sets to develop the individual and grow the capability of the function.
- Have an extensive background in supply regulations (and potentially transport regs as well); expert knowledge of REACH; safety data sheet authoring, understanding how to classify both substances and mixtures and author a fully compliant safety data sheet., etc.
- Performing and managing high quality technical consultancy in the field of chemical regulatory affairs.
- Keep up to date with market trends and developments.
- Contribute ideas to the development of business strategy with respect to regulatory.
- Ability to communicate clearly to a range of people.
Your role will involve:
- Undertaking a range of client work related to REACH and CLP.
- Coaching and knowledge sharing with team members, helping others to grow their knowledge of the REACH, CLP and related regulations and how it applies to clients.
- Understand the regulatory landscape and being an expert in this field.
- Excellent project management and customer management skills, allowing you to manage our clients proactively, delivering excellence and winning repeat business.
- Providing extensive technical knowledge especially in the area of REACH and/or SDS Authoring.
- Working closely with our REACH Consultancy lead to collaborate and identify growth opportunities to support our clients.
- Providing expert technical consultancy input to support the growth and development of technical regulatory consultancy products and services.
- Identifying and helping to take forward opportunities that are uncovered through the technical work e.g., through technical conversations around REACH uncovering where the customer may require additional support in Safety Data Sheets, Poison Centres and Emergency Response or training opportunities.
