Job Description

Position Title: Intern for Ricardo Rail

Status: Internship

Department: Ricardo Rail USA

Location: Sacramento, California

Due to continued growth, Ricardo Rail is looking to strengthen their team to support the delivery of existing and new projects in the United States. The Intern candidate will reside in/near Sacramento, California.  Competitive compensation and opportunity for permanent employment following graduation.

We are seeking to recruit an Intern to work with our business development team to assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.  

You will have the opportunity to:

Assist business development and engineering teams in various tasks and duties.
Assist with the preparation of reports and documents as assigned.
Perform other tasks as needed.

Technical expertise & skills required:

We consider it essential that you can demonstrate:

  • Completion of 2 years of post-secondary degree program focused in engineering, business, finance, or other approved degree
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Interest in transit rail projects
  • Comfortable working in field, project site environment


Qualifications required:

  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineer, business, finance, or other approved degree. 
  • A concentration in Transportation is a plus.
  • An interest in Transit Rail Projects.
