We are currently looking for Monitoring and Delivery Officers to join our Sustainability team.
The Monitoring Delivery Officer role is to support projects and the overall programme to deliver its objectives. You will play a crucial role in being a bridge from projects on the ground to the delivery and management teams. You will be a key part of the team working with our ‘Head of Energy Programmes’ and other senior stakeholders and project team members across the organisation.
- Proactively engage with projects to identify risks or challenges.
- Work with projects to navigate solutions to challenges as well as facilitate specialist support to improve delivery or evert / overcome challenges.
- Escalate any project performance issues.
- Work with programme management team, supporting the delivery through comprehensive reporting and sharing best practice.
- Occasionally attend site visits to meet with the project team and inspect project progress.
Skills and behaviours
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Confidence to chair and direct online meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient writing and reporting skills.
- Able to manage time and organise workload.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to moving requirements.
- Interest in the importance of carbon emission reduction. Knowledge and/or work experience in relevant sector.
- Understanding of UK NetZero Strategy.
- Understanding of best practice recruitment.
- Ability to travel throughout England.
- Clean drivers license.

All candidates will be required to attend training which will give you full insight into the role, with skills, knowledge and practical session. This is designed to give you a full understanding of the role in practice, to learn from experienced MDO’s and to upskill your knowledge across the keys areas within the housing sector.
