Job Description

Ricardo Defense is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to join our team.  This Information Assurance Analyst will participate in the documentation, design, and implementation of computer, information and other data communications networks. This Information Assurance Analyst will support Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Governance and Information Technology Governance efforts. 

This position will assist in the development, review, and maintenance of documents to support CNSSI 1253, and the Risk Management Framework including the Information Support Plan (ISP) and the Acquisition Cybersecurity Strategy. 

Candidates for this position must be able to perform successfully both collaboratively and independently with periodic oversight. This Information Analyst requires regular interaction with customers and subject matter experts. This position is a hybrid work position allowing 2-3 days WFH and 2-3 days per week at our customers location in Warren, MI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Derive and allocate cybersecurity requirements to sub-system and component levels
  • Efficient, accurate preparation of policy statements and/or evidence of compliance
  • Collaborate with project managers, development team, end users and customers to ensure that requirements and expectations are addressed in all phases of the project
  • Monitor and test computer systems’ security
  • Design plans to protect system data from cyber-attacks 
  • Analyze security data and provide well written reports derived from the data
  • Conduct reviews with product teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are being met throughout the product development life cycle
  • Develop, review, and maintain documents to support the DoD Risk Management Framework and the CNSSI 1253
  • Successfully represent the company and communicate effectively with customers
  • Information Technology experience supporting Risk Management Framework or other compliance background including Cybersecurity
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly to peers, management and customers in person and through documentation
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or other applicable field from an accredited college or university 
  • Experience with cybersecurity for information systems
  • 2+ years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree suitable in lieu of experience
  • Good technical leadership, planning and organization/control skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge and experience with NIST 800-53
  • Working experience with IDS/IPS and SIEM solutions
  • The ability to create and maintain compliance documentation such as Cyber Security Strategies, Plans of Actions and Milestones, Security Traceability Matrices and System Security Plans.
