Job Description

Ricardo Defense is seeking an Operations Analyst to add to our growing team.  This Operations Analyst will be a hybrid position with remote work as well as support at our customer location in Warren, MI. This Operations Analyst will focus on implementing and updating the general operations of the office on a day-to-day basis by maintaining, researching, and improving current workflows and business procedures. The Operations Analyst will also be responsible for making sure that the program follows all compliance standards and regulations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts supporting the communication and updates of outdated legacy systems, coordinate supply on hand, and work to procure material requests through a Systems Support Buy Out.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively all program changes to over 150 different countries/and programs associated with these countries.
  • Quickly respond to inquiries, action items, briefing material, and publications covering policy definitions, regulations, and high-level briefings. 
  • Establish and update task trackers and SharePoint files. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining multiple schedules and calendars, establish new and reoccurring meetings and completing meeting minutes at each meeting.
  • Update, edit and compile high-level briefings for various Program Management meetings, briefings, reoccurring meets.  
  • Provide timekeeping and payroll support to team members in a timely and accurate manner. Submit overtime requests through appropriate channels of approval, communicate with teammates regarding projected time-off requests, coordination of payroll certification.
  • Arrange team members travel arrangements to include airline bookings, lodging, rental car, etc.  Includes overseas travel and submitting trip vouchers following trips, while adhering to all government regulations set in place. 
  • Research unique projects to determine if there are any improvements that can be made on current procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of study, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in related field of work (US DoD experience preferred).
  • Ability to obtain a Common Access Card.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. 
  • Self-starter, strong communication skills, ability to work in a collaborative environment, as well as independently. 
  • Familiar with SharePoint and Microsoft Office Programs, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Comfortable interfacing with Government representatives
