Our Sustainability Business Area has grown rapidly over the last year from 36 to 55 staff and we expect continued strong growth over the coming years.


The opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced circular economy specialist to join our team in the circular economy technical area.  The technical area sits within our established Sustainability Business Area and is part of a 200 person strong ‘Sustainable Infrastructure & Operations’ business unit.


Our circular economy team works to create practical and scalable solutions that will directly support organisations in moving towards a more sustainable future. You will lead a fantastic team of consultants that win and deliver a wide range of circular economy projects covering policy research, strategy and action plan development, sustainable procurement, sustainable packaging, circular business model design and implementation. 


As a recognised expert in the field of circular economy, you will lead on developing consultancy services whilst contributing to the strategic development of the company and its services with a focus on the circular economy. You will direct and deliver consultancy projects for a wide range of clients at local, regional and national level primarily in the UK but internationally as required.  You will be adaptable and able to balance priorities spanning technical delivery, business development and team management. 


You will have responsibility for leading business development activities including competitive bidding and client relationship management. You will work with a wider business development team and leadership team responsible for developing other offerings to support new opportunities across different areas of work. We are looking for someone to take advantage of our excellent capability and track record, leveraging it continue the growth trajectory of this team.
